Entering my journeyman phase of learning my trade. Traveling to work with professional bookbinders before I open my own bindery.

ABOUT ME

I am a maker and a doer. I am curious about the world and like to engage with it in an active way. I love to garden, to cook, to listen to live music, to wander, to be lost, to be. Riding a bicycle makes me feel like a child or a bird. I have only recently found my career and am thrilled to have something that will challenge me endlessly. I get great satisfaction from making beautiful things.

Currently reading poems by Kay Ryan and a book of essays by Jeanette Winterson.

Listening to M Ward, Arcade Fire, Modest Mouse, Gillian Welch, Eleni Mandell. Bonnie Prince Billie, Devotchka, Beirut, Be Good Tanyas are in constant rotation.

Was raised on old movies from the 30's and 40's.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I just finished a bicycle trip from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Boston, Massachusetts. I saw many beautiful sights, but one spectacular moment was when a sliver black stallion looked up from the grass he was eating and ran alongside me as I pedaled by. Brief, but magical.
