ABOUT ME

I'm 28 years old and for the last 2 years I have been in New York studying for my Ph. D. in economics.

I like to travel with time to visit cities and meet the people without needing to hurry through turistic points all day. For me travelling is not about what I see but an experience of being somewhere and the people I meet are the rason for me to love or hate a place and eventually come back. I've been trying to open my mind since i'm 17 (yeah, it took me a lot of time to understand the importance of it), and I think that the only possible ways are reading, watching some movies (that's how i've been doing until now) and meeting a lot of people (that's my new way of doing it). Apart from tat, i'm a calm but anxious girl, the perfect "carioca", who loves samba, frozen beer, bohemians and a sunny day in the beach.

I try always to meet people with whom I get in contact through cs. If I can't offer a couch I'll try to offer a beer. Anyway, couchsurfing is all about getting in contact with people. More than a facility for travelers, it's a great reason to be one!
