I'm a China-born, Texas-raised Chicagoan who loves to travel because there's so much to see, do, and learn about the world! I'm addicted to traveling because it lets me learn about myself while learning about the world around me. The travel bug bit me when I studied abroad in Barcelona in 2015, and since then, I realized that there's so much more out there to explore. From hiking the Grand Canyon to wandering around Ireland by myself, there's always a breathtaking moment around the corner. I love to see beautiful places and then photograph and write about them. I actually don't mind touristy places most of the time, but I really enjoy the lesser-known local spots as well.

I'm really obsessed with music (predominantly EDM, but I like all types) and with attending music festivals because it's a great way to connect with others, dance, and feel freedom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to learn from others and get to know them, their culture, and their city. I'm always looking for the local hot spots or hidden gems (especially if it's a scenic, nature place).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-explored Paris, Sweden (Gothenburg), Norway (Oslo), Denmark (Copenhagen), and the western part of Ireland for the first time... by myself... without knowing anyone... on a whim

-had breakfast on the East Coast (Washington D.C.), lunch in the Midwest (Chicago), and dinner on the West Coast (San Diego) all the same day

-traveled to Cuba
