I'm a 23 years old from a city in the south of Switzerland, the Italian speaking part. I studied Theater and Cinema in the University Paris 8 and now I'm studying physical theater (Jacques Lecoq's pedagogy) in Barcelona.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like both traveling and meeting new people, and Couchsurfing is a cool opportunity to bring this two things together.
Plus, I always prefer to discover the cities I visit through the advices of locals. I love to see places that only locals know and go to.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of different music genres: classical, jazz, fado, folk music from different countries. The artists/composers that I listen to the most lately are probably Billie Holiday, Tom Waits, Lhasa de Sela, Fabrizio de André, and some Greek traditional musicians; for the classical music, Verdi, Schubert, Prokofiev.

About movies, my favorites directors are Werner Herzog, Aki Kaurismäki, Fassbinder, Claude Goretta, Ken Loach, Nanni Moretti, Antonioni, Scola.

For the books it's even more complicated! I always read many books at the same time. Right now I'm reading Mrs Dalloway (Virginia Woolf), Eichmann in Jerusalem (Hannah Arendt), The Story of Art (Ernst Gombrich), The Age of Extremes: The Short Twentieth Century (Eric Hobsbawm).
