Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My heart and home are open to possibilities~
I love to host whenever I am able now that I finally have my own little space in Japan. And of course when traveling I hope to meet more kind-hearted people~
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A short stay with the loveliest girl that completely changed my opinion of the city I visited! <3
So far I have only hosted the loveliest of people! Everyone has a story to tell, something to teach me, and moment to share. I feel really lucky to have met the people I did, and hope to meet many more beautiful souls!
Interests
I enjoy big and small pleasures of life:
Discovering someplace new, meeting someone unexpected, exploring charming nooks and crannies, learning how to make something with my hands, finding treasures in a pile of junk, folding paper, sketching someone's portrait, the air after a thunderstorm, hugging a friend, making someone smile, reading a good book, the sound of pages turning, the first inklings of an idea, rolling down a hill, first snowfall, the first taste of a cup of tea, the sound of water tricking, defying the rules (within reason of course), savoring a moment.
Above all I love sharing new experiences with wonderful people~

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
I listen to a great many things and am always looking to discover fresh new artists~
I have a tendency toward indie rock, film soundtracks, classical, foreign songs, folk melodies, wrock and other fan-music genres~
BOOKS
I fully admit I am a product of the Harry Potter generation, so I love a healthy dose of fantasy/sci-fi/fairytales. Essentially I sold my soul to Neil Gaiman.
I am also a huge fan of graphic novels/comic books/BD/manga. I have a particular affection for webcomics and such types of self-published graphic work.
FILM
Animations makes me happy. What can I say, I am a child at heart!
I admit that my knowledge of good films is very limited, so I will heartily take any recommendations you might have! I love a good story with Strong Female Characters, or just good characters in general~ :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Gone ski-dooing on a frozen river, Having a bonfire on a beach in January snow, Breathed in the smell of the Athabasca River, Created art with my own hand, Realized how lucky I am to have many close and loving friends, Knowing that this is just the beginning...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an art teacher in training, so I would happy to share anything I can with you in this domain! I also love to make crafts of all kinds with recycled/found objects and I make a decent bread. I can also speak quebecois french and mandarin chinese if anyone wants a practice buddy. :D
I am an eager learner in all things! A song, a recipe, how to do a handstand, how to juggle, what have you! I just LOVE learning!
