About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To bring up our kids lovingly!
ABOUT ME
We are a little family of 4 who like travelling. Because of the kids we don't travel that much, hopefully this changes, as they get older and travelling easier again.
Sven works as an aircraft mechanic and Mel works in a school office.
In the summertime we love to be outside. Somewhere in the town or in our garden. We like to grow veggies in our garden, but still are on our way to be good gardeners. :-)
And we are vegetarian and try to eat not many dairy products.
PHILOSOPHY
Changes usually come about on their own mysterious schedule.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We host & surf.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We started as hosts in 2009 and have had a wonderful time couchsurfing in California and New Zealand during winter 2009/2010. It is so nice to meet so many different and interesting local people. They were all so helpful and we really enjoyed this experience. Since then we are mainly hosts.
since 2016: We changed our room situation because the kids get older and bigger. It's not so easy now for us to host as we don't have a separate guest room anymore.

Music, Movies, and Books
We prefer to listen to rock music. Movies have to be funny or exciting or simply just good. With books it's the same.

Teach, Learn, Share
If someone can teach Mel how to juggle with four items, that would be awesome!
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you like to play the piano or the guitar during your travel, feel free to use these instruments in our house.
