Hi everyone, quick introduction. We are a couple living in Prague for 2 years now, I am from Brazil, Sao Paulo (Gabriela) and Steve is britsh. We are a very calm and easy going couple, we love to enjoy our home, to watch tv, cuddle our little cats and just chill. Our house is free of any kind of prejudice, we are both open minded and wont tolerate any form of prejudice in our home (also, if you voted for bolsonaro or brexit, dont even bother lol)

We are starting to host again after a pause where we mostly just received people from a girls cs group I am in. We do not host for a lot of days, our house is not a hotel, we live in a pretty small flat so pleaaase dont come asking if you and your 5 buddies can stay with us for 10 days, not gonna happen. We host just one person per time, max 2 days and we will give preference to women because I know how much struggle it is to find safe places to stay in CS nowadays.

Sorry if I sound bitter, just tired of receiving nonsense requests all the time hahaha

Despite this, I promise me and Steve are very nice and kind people, we will help you around if we can, and will be happy to make you feel at home :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We are on couchsurfing first of all because we believe that the best thing about travelling is discovering how it is to actually live in a new city, and the best way to experience this is to hang out with someone who actually does. We want to meet new people and make friends all around the world, to drink beer, try new things and basically enjoy the best things in life with. We starting to host people this year and till now we have met so many amazing people and have so many diferente stories, unfortunately we can’t host right now because of the size of our at, but we are moving to a bigger place in January and are excited to start hosting again :)

well, just put some of our favs: smiths, arcade fire, radiohead, tame impala, mac demarco, crystal castles, the xx, sufjavan stevens, eels, gorillaz, beatles, and we love psychodelic trance (we are always up to go to raves and festivals)

favorites books: Gabriela love anything that come from russian or English literature, being the classics her favorite ones! We also enjoy fantasy books, like lotr.

favorite movies: trainspotting, star wars, la science des reves, and we are absolutely crazy about studios ghibli movies, we started once and now we have watched lots of them!

tv shows: bojack horsemann, peep show, the office, friends, mr robot, twin peaks, got, rick and mortyn, stranger things, modern family, it’s always sunny in Philadelphia and of course, adventure time :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think one of the most amazing things we have done together was our road trip through England/Wales. We spent a good time driving around, seeing amazing places and different cities. We camped in Cornwall in one of the most beautiful places ever and we even went to north wales to a massive trampoline inside a cave :)

We believe that learning comes from new experiences, it's very cliche but it makes so much sense to us and it's the main reason we decide to leave our homes: to live and learn from new experiences and people.

well, we can always do some lame jokes :) also Gabriela can make brigadeiro (brazillian candy) and Steve says he do the best tea (such a english). And if you love beer like us we can bring some delicious czech beer for you. And we of course would be happy to host you back in Prague and show some cool places.
