ABOUT ME

I have been on couch-surfing for a long while, and have sadly neglected it a bit over the past few months and feel so so deeply ashamed;)

I have lived in Shanghai since for almost 8 years now! Damn, I write that and it sounds crazy, but it's true. I haven't lived here the whole time though, I've also taken time off to to travel.

Couchsurfing has been very good to me, and I would love to show Shanghai again to those who come by. I am a goof-ball and love meeting the coolest and also the most awkward of strangers, either one works for me as long we we can somehow relate!

I have my own company here so sometimes work loads and sometimes it's a bit more chill just depends! Business has expanded crazily so I'm getting ready for hectic fall.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have trekked across China by myself. Road a motorcycle through Sri Lanka, hitch-hiked in China and South America. etc. I just got back from a sacred trek in Qing Hai, yeaaaah boi!

Teach, Learn, Share

China is an awesome place and Shanghai is completely different than China in its own right. I have traveled and trekked across the country but I feel living wise Shanghai is a once in a lifetime opportunity. There are few cities where you get a sense of true internationalism that is not as much Western focused as London or New York.

If you roll by mine I can do 2 things for you:

1: Show you what Shanghai is all about.
2: Tell you how to trek to some of the best places in China using Shanghai as your initial portal. Where to go, what to do, how to be safe, etc.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Germany, Guatemala, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, United States
