ABOUT ME

I grew up in southern China I am currently studying art history and French in the university of Hong Kong.

I am outgoing, active, optimistic, and a bit sociable. I really enjoy chatting with people. The enthusiasm about the unpredictability and the curiosity about people are the main motivation for me to look around this world.

I like Chinese traditional music, costume, calligraphy. And I can make excellent Canton Dim-sum. Conventional as it might look, I also like bands, guitar, traveling and all those fascinating western arts, Gothic architecture, Baroque paintings.

What I learn from my past two years' study of art history is that art is not about telling people something but about bringing things out from people. So is life. In the age when even non-expressionism can be deemed as a virtue, why those ordinary extraordinary stuffs in daily life should not be deemed as so?

I wish I could grow into a better person with every pieces of experience that the whole universe prepared for me.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a continuous function composed of discrete moments. Live in this moment then I am live in this life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now I am living in the dormitory in Hong Kong, so it would be hard to host people. But I am willing to take you around the city and show you my favorite places and restaurants if available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't experienced couchsurfing before. It would be my first shot. Both excited and afraid I guess, for a girl starting a journey alone, I choose to believe that there are great people out there!

❤I love music that combines the classic with the modern, the western with the eastern. I am a person full of contradictions, and the balance between extremes appears to be of most beauty to me. Currently, I would like to know more about western music and see what can I do about mixing them into the genre that I am familiar with.

❤Actually there are a lot of more books. I love reading so much that I do not dare think of gaining a career composed of merely reading. When I was small, I spent most of my spare time in the book shopping center. It is just hard to memorize all their names at once. After all, it is the books that shape me into the person and I am everything I read. Thank you authors!!!!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Learning Gu Zheng ( a traditional Chinese instrument) for 14 years and then began to learn Flute and Guitar which are of a completely different kind. Go beyond the boundary with full self-awareness.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Wow, if there is really a Couchsurfing University, I would like to learn how to find balance between the fear for the unpredictable and the unrest generated from the unchanged. That's the problem all human face I guess. But that's also the problem the nowadays universities fail to teach and answer. This question has troubled me for so long. Maybe a chance of facing everything alone in a trip, in a state of consistently changing will help one find it. I hope that one day I might be taught or I might be able to teach people about it.
