Overview
About Me
I'm a photographer and retoucher. I'm also a serial hobbyist. I like to move a lot.
As a photographer I shoot portraits, fashion, dance (more specifically ballet), and I used to travel shooting and teaching photography and my retouching techniques. I'm a full time retoucher and work from home now. I love learning languages, dancing ballet, practicing taekwondo, pole dancing, and taking pictures. If you're sending a request to stay at home, please READ my whole profile, there's important info in the "My Home" section and photos of the couch in my photos.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a solo traveller and this is a great way to meet interesting people.
I'm on CS because hotels are cold and sharing is caring.
If I don't accept your request to stay don't take it personally, I don't have a lot of time and I'm being very selective, I like to learn about specific cultures and practice my target languages.

Music, Movies, and Books
Where do I even start? Let's sit down and talk about the stuff we like, maybe even watch a movie together.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
• Shaved all of my hair off, it was nice to be a kiwi head for a while.
• Met Marianela Núñez (the best ballet dancer in the world IMHO) gave her my card and she told me she already knew my work. I almost died.
• Spoke about my life and work in front of 400 people, in Querétaro, México.
• Shot backstage at the Latvian National Ballet and experienced the magic that goes on behind the curtain.
• Assisted on a shoot for Royal Salute: Portraits of the Duke of Argyll at his castle in Inveraray, Scotland. After the first day of shooting we realized we had forgotten to give him the keys to the castle back :O
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Photography and digital retouching.
Learn: Languages; I love learning new words, so I'll be happy to learn a little bit of your language. Geography; any new information about the world makes me happy.
Share: Food, wine or coffee and good conversation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Tips on how to take good photos, and stories about travel. I can teach you some spanish, or ballet/stretching techniques.
• • • If you're sending me a request to stay at home, make an effort, write a personal one. Show you've read my profile and that you picked me not only because you would enjoy staying at home, but because you think I would enjoy hosting you too. Let me know why we'd have a nice time being roommates for a while. I just think copy/paste messages are a bit cold. I will always decline these impersonal, copy/paste requests.
If I host you, please remember to leave a reference before the 14 day period is over. It's a bit rude to let someone host you and not even pay them back with a few kind words. My references are little souvenirs of my guests and I do often go back to read them because they make me smile.
If the date you need to come to Buenos Aires is not available in my calendar or if I say no, please don't insist, I'm not available. It also helps if you let me know what your plans are in Buenos Aires, maybe I can help you out :)
