About Me

I'm from the north of Italy but since I left my hometown I have been living in the south of Italy, Spain, France and the Netherlands. I am inspired by colours, languages, stories, and the light of the Mediterranean sea.

Mission: Going around, learning as much as I can and enjoying the process!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just believe in the CS mood :)

I enjoyed both surfing and hosting and had brilliant experiences, especially when I was hosting together with my flatmates... In CS I met people that made me dive into the soul of the city I was visiting, had experiences I am still grateful for. Meeting nice people on CS can really make the difference between being just a passer-by in a city, and carrying it in your heart when you leave.

Interests

I have studied African Studies and enjoyed it a lot, and I am definitely still interested in all that is related to this field. When I travel I am enthusiastic about local food, I love to taste new flavours and especially to learn new recipes, so if you want to show me how to prepare some of your specialities that would be great, and I could make some Italian food in return :)
I love diving into nature, not always so easy when you are visiting towns but if there is there is a chance of hiking or being on the sea I will most probably be up for it!
Last but not least, three years ago I started practising Capoeira so now I like to meet capoeiristas too!

Music, Movies, and Books

Hard question. Love travel literature in general. With music it's even harder so let's just talk about it in person while having a drink ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking and getting lost, discovering small alleys that bring into hidden squares, spending nights on the seaside... Nothing incredible, just small things that make life better!

Teach, Learn, Share

When I travel I am particularly curious about food and life stories! So I guess the best way to teach, learn and share would be sharing stories while having dinner :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am not special in any particular discipline, but I promise I will do my best for cooking some Italian food, helping you practise the languages can I speak if you want, and most importantly being respectful, curious and open-minded about your town, life and passions.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Chad, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Ethiopia, France, Greece, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Tunisia

Countries I’ve Lived In
