ABOUT ME

Trombone-playing traveller. Curious about the world, cultures, and other customs.

Very lucky to have worked as rock band touring crew for most of my life. In recent years, though, I've moved into tourism and developed my own company which trains tour guides in emerging destinations. Definitely recommending Central Asia if you've not yet been - the Silk Road countries have treasures that have been overlooked.

A big passion of mine is trying to eradicate human trafficking. A few years ago, to raise funds and awareness, I managed to achieve the Guinness World Record for visiting the highest number of national capitals in 24 hours.

Love meeting new people and getting a local view of a region / city. UPDATE: my house is now often rented out on AirBnB, so I'm not planning to host as much in 2018. But try me!

PHILOSOPHY

The Dalai Lama said it best: "My religion is kindness." I think that you can do whatever you like in life as long as it doesn't hurt anybody.

I also think that being out of your comfort zone enriches your life.
