About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a Polish girl, 3rd year student at Glasgow Uni turning into a mean waitress at night. In the overall I am most likely a typical 23-year-old. I like music, I like sunny weather and ice-cream :)
I wish I had more time to travel...
PHILOSOPHY
none, I just go with the flow and try not to loose the spirit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
used to participate quite a lot some time ago on a shared profile with my ex-boyfriend (search 'Kacper and Lidia' to see our profile together with comments from our guests and hosts).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
extremely positive. I was mainly hosting people, surfed only once myself. It was great fun all in all.
Interests
History quite obviously. I do like all the politics stuff but the older I get, the more ignorant I start to be. I do like music and cinema just like everyone. I wish I had more time to read, as most of the year I am stuck with serious and not always extremely fascinating academic history books. I try to catch up during the summer though ;)
I like archaeology as well and still cannot understand why I never started to study it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like European movies, Kusturica is my beloved. I like Woody Allen as well, and Disney cartoons (not the very recent ones though, excluding 'Up' [which isn't exclusively Disney]). Apart from that, a lot of girly silly stuff with good-looking guys and pretty girls falling in love with each other ;)
My bit of music will be probably rock. The Clash, British rock and anything that Jack White ever participated in. I adore mr Zach Condon a.k.a. Beirut. Again, Kusturica appears with his No Smoking Orchestra. Apart from that all the bits and pieces from Misfits to Kylie Minogue as long as it's decent.
For books I have my great trinity: Marke Hlasko, Stefan Chwin, Pawel Huelle (all Polish, but all translated ;])
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am performing miracles before each and every assignment deadline... I'd consider moving out home and living in another country fairly amazing as well... I am not the 'extreme sports' kind of girl so you'd be disappointed here...
The longer I live, the fewer things I see, seem to amaze me. I do believe that the most amazing thing ever for me to see is still to come.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always up for any lessons one can teach me ;)
I am not sure what I could teach yous... I cook well and bake even better. I can always annoy you with 'alternative history' lesson - my friends' favorite torture ;)
