ABOUT ME

I'm one of those Europe loving Americans who is seeking out a good home city on my favorite continent. I've had little formal education until recently and dove into it madly after a wonderfully adventurous life without it!

I learned in the nightclubs, law firms, and streets of New York as well as in the corporations and government of the dirty south in Nashville, TN.

I've lived in Hungary for two years recently and now the sea calls me...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was with a wonderful person in Philly. I had three awesome hosts in Brussels and we all met together one night. Debrecen brought me my first friend there... Lately have surfed in Italy and Spain and am spending a month riding through France.

I've been on couches in San Francisco, New York, Nashville, London, and a bit of New England long before this site was around.

In the summer of 2011 I spent two months cycling around Europe and using CouchSurfing for most of my accommodations. I made great friends who I plan to stay in touch with for years to come...

Interests

I like to know how everything works, human made and in nature.

Cooking, playing music, musical instruments, movies - all types(well good - not the other kind), museums, cities, Europe... I like exploring new places, making friends, discovering how others think, sharing ideas and philosophies, exchanging cultures - food, art, entertainment...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Funk, soul, punk, rock, jazz, metal, classical, traditional from many countries(show me something cool!), African drumming, etc. But I play and my favorite is electric guitar music from people who really have a feel for it. R&B, Blues, Rock.

Movies: old, independent, documentary.

Books: Biographies about entertainers and world class villains. Books that teach mental processes. Stories of human motivation and how people deal with the curves life throws their way.

I have a pretty good knowledge base and like to tap into other people`s knowledge and experience. Stories are my favorite. No teacher like stories.
