About Me
CURRENT MISSION
appreciate everyday's absurdity :)
ABOUT ME
Quite a normal person I guess? Usually extremely talkative, friendly and outgoing, from time to time shy and reserved, but it passes. Eager to sing and talk even all night. I willingly talk about languages, animals, culture, weird things, useless things, world politics. I love long nights with beer, singing and some talented people playing the guitar. With a huge enthusiasm I take part in activities I've never done before, like volunteering in a movie festival. I've a soft spot for animals, used to volunteer in a pet shelter. I work in Czech cultural centre, so quite often I'm busy with some event. My part time job is a translator and interpreter, which gives me joy and sometimes adrenaline. Favourite way of sightseeing: get lost in side streets of some town, watch people and details, order something the name of which doesn't tell you anything and eat it, learn a few words in native language and try to practice them. Relax.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat other people just the way you'd like to be treated. And don't talk them to death :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: lots. The top ones are Utomlyonnye solntsem, all Monty Python's, Leon, Butterfly's Effect, Pulp Fiction, Godfather.
Music: from Jacek Kaczmarski and Stanislaw Staszewski (Polish bards) through Karel Kryl (Czech bard) and Leonard Cohen to young punk bands and experiments with world music (Finnish rock simply rocks!)
Books: too much to list, as I read everything :) Lately I like journal books and good fantasy, but always somewhere close to the top would be some of Bohumil Hrabal's books (Prilis hlucna samota = Too Loud a Solitude) and "Zly" (The Man With White Eyes) by Polish writer Leopold Tyrmand.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Heard a bunch of wolves howling about 30 metres from my tent in Nagorno Karabakh. And survived some hardcore parties with local people there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some words in Polish or Czech, cook for you some traditional Polish dishes, sing for you and teach you some silly songs... I'm surely able to do things I haven't imagined before, try me ;)
I'm longing to find someone able to teach me some basic things about playing the guitar - some already tried, noone succeeded :)
