About Me

ABOUT ME

Photographer from Seattle. I studied Russian/Eastern European/Central Asian affairs at the University of Washington with a particular interest in security and nationalities issues. I'm a freelance photojournalist currently based in Belgrade, Serbia pursuing stories around the region and into Russia.

I'm obsessed with great beer and food, particularly after living in the Balkans for a couple of years, and will travel long distances for a unique taste. I'd cut off my finger for a bowl of Pho or a double IPA.

PHILOSOPHY

If your pictures aren't good enough, you don't feel it strong enough.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In May 2007, I took a crazy ride through minefields in a 4x4 Lada on a road situated on the crest of a Bosnian "Pyramid", with a 6'4" Bosnian war-hero driver named Zombi, who looked like Sylvester Stallone and sang to us Bosnian ballads. It was exactly that strange.

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Russian Federation, Serbia, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Kosovo, Serbia, United States
