ABOUT ME

Where am I from?
I am half Luxembourgish (yes, it is a country), half Filipina. I grew up in Germany though and have now lived half my life in the Philippines.

Where is my home now?
Home has become a difficult concept to define, my perception of it changes as I travel and I am quite flexible to make a home wherever I am.
My "home base" is in Cebu City, Philippines, where I can also host (when I am there).

Last year I quit my job and traveled around Europe for 6 months. Now, I am trying to make a new home base for myself in Singapore and will not be able to host for awhile, as I will still be travelling and sorting things out.

I love exploring new places, outdoor activities. I scuba dive and like to do other water sports such as wakeboarding and surfing (still a beginner on that one).
When it comes to music I've played the saxophone for six years but now I prefer the simple ukulele for jamming sessions. During my school days I was into all kind of things like soccer, basketball, badminton, swimming, choir, and dance team.

I'm pretty much easy-going and eager to try new things if it doesn't involve eating something gross haha. :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best kind of people I have ever met were on Couchsurfing! It is a totally different community of open- and like-minded people. I love the vibes here.

Interests

I love to travel & experience life, learning new things and getting lost in my own world while reading a good fiction book. I like to taste new foods and spending time in coffee shops. On the other hand i love adventure, the great outdoors, watersports, diving, and awesome jam sessions at the beach.
Just newly also, i am getting into dance & photography :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Medical Missions in the Philippines hopping from Island to Island and helping people wherever and however we can.

The trip I am doing now (travelling since May 2015) is definitely leaving its mark on me as well. Too many great moments, surprises, awesome people and random adventures!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook a delicious (so they say) Chicken Curry;

I can teach you German/ English/ Visayan (Filipino) and will be happy to learn new words or phrases in other languages, especially French, or Italian :D

I love to share and hear grand travel stories, but can also relate to medical sciences, book worms, and outdoor enthusiasts.

I am very much interested in learning and immersing myself in other cultures and will be happy to share some of the ones I grew up with as well (western and asian)..
