Hey There! I'm currently an Au Pair living in the United States, I was born in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, but part of my family is from Italy, I grew up having curiosity to explore and travel all around the world, to collect pictures and memories. I love music, I love going to concerts, festivals and karaokes, I like all kinds of music, but rock, indie and folk will always be my favorites. I'm really adaptable with weather and food, since I came to U.S I tried all kinds of food, where I came from, it doesn't snow, and it's never cold, now I realized I like snow and I also love winter. I'm really easy going, flexible and open-minded person, I love animals and where I live now I have an active German shepherd and a Savannah cat, I don't smoke, but it won't bug me if you do. I love being in the city even if is just to walk around, love cycling and I love talking to people about everything. The part I most love about traveling is taking pictures and recording some videos. I love to draw, and I love playing guitar and singing. I like learning bad words and memes from another countries lol, also I love to share our memes and our bad words, it's always funny!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Visiting touristic points is good, but exploring new places is awesome, in a resident point of view. I grew up in Rio and people just talk about Christ the redeemer and Copacabana, I know extremely beautiful places that no one talk about it, or they don't know how to get there. In September I'm going to travel with another Brazilian friend, that is also an Au Pair, to Europe (England/Netherlands/Italy), we would love to explore Europe in a a resident point of view, share our culture and our amazing sense of humor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, in a thematic house about Brazil and our culture, and it was one of the most incredible experiences in my life, I worked in the reception area, I helped foreigners every day, and also I helped visually impaired people to know the museum, I was always the one that did the excursions with a big group of kids from some schools.

My mother and I helped (she still does it in Brazil) children to have a Christmas gift, where she selects the children that the parents couldn't afford to buy anything for Christmas, and calls her friends for each one to choose a child and buy them a Christmas gift, we always chose a lot of kids and payed someone to be Santa Claus and give them their presents. It was the most beautiful and pure thing in the world.
