About Me

ABOUT ME

I am someone who enjoys adventures, thirsts for spontaneity, and dreams of making it in NYC. My life mostly revolves around my four year old son. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my favorite trips involved me talking to people from various countries walking around New York City. I absolutely love meeting new people and how much you can learn by simply having a conversation with a stranger.

Interests

I love The Beatles, all things Disney, Musicals, and enjoying life! I also really enjoy game nights! My favorite games include Clue, Phase Ten, Mexican Train Dominos, Scrabble, Boggle, Chinese Checkers, Taboo, and ERS. I am passionate about recycling and voting. I have a healthy (or depending on how you look at it, unhealthy) relationship with food. I am not afraid of trying "weird" foods and give everything two chances because taste buds develop and perefences change all the time. I apply that to books and movies as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Upon less than an hour of arrival on my first visit to NYC, a man attempted to steal my cellphone while I was in the middle of a phone call. He pulled out some of my hair while doing so and I immediately scratched his face and got my phone back. Probably more foolish than amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I consider myself a conniseur of finding good deals. I used to be really into extreme couponing so if that interests you, I could give you some tips! Walmart sometimes paid ME on some of my shopping trips! I know the ins and outs of Disney World on a budget so if a trip is something you want, I can provide you with loads of information. I saw four Broadway shows in three days without buying tickets beforehand for a total of about $135.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope I can bring laughs, good conversation, and immensely show my gratitude for being trusted into someone else's home.
