About Me

CURRENT MISSION

It might sound quite a cliché quote someone famous, but I really like the following:

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – St. Augustine

ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 years old Brazilian guy living in Germany for an internship at DHL with the mission of travelling and meeting nice people around the world :)

I have been offline on couch surfing for quite a long time, but now that I can host someone and have time to travel I am back :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am travelling always as possible, mainly on weekends. I can host until one person / 2 persons in my flat, I have a comfortable couch ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an amazing experience in Stockholm, when my friend and I were hosted by a guy in his flat. It was so good, there were so many exchanges, we could learn so much about the place. If we were in a hostel, for sure, it would'n have been so amazing the trip.

Since then, I hope having new experiences like that.

If anyone is comming to Bonn, please talk to me. If possible, I'll for sure host you and show you the main places in the city ;) And having an amazing German Beer, na klar!

Interests

Right now I'm learning German and I hope learn as much as I can. Besides that, I love getting to know new people, showing people nice spots of Bonn, this beautiful town where I am currently living!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like pop, classical, rock, jazz... music from my country: MPB, Bossa Nova, Samba, Pagode, Forró! I don't like all songs, this is sure, but I love all kinds of music.

I love suspens movies, actions movies and sometimes a good comedy and a romance to laugh and relax..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is difficult to list amazing things that i have done :)

But I can list a couple of interesting things. I can tell how much the fact of living abroad and travelling molded me into the person that I am today. All started a couple of years ago when I first travelled outside of Brazil. I went to US for a couple of days and that was enough to make realize that I am the kind of person that wants to see as much as possible for this great world.

I also can mention how great the semester abroad in Bremen 4 years ago changed me as a person and opened my mind to try new things, go to new places, meet 'strangers'.. and I have been getting so many surprises since then.

I also need to mention my love and passion for Mexico, this great country with so lovely people who received me so well for the couple of months that I lived there. I miss SO MUCH all of the friends that I met there.

Now I am in a new stage of my life. Not a student anymore, doing my internship in Bonn. But I am never closed to meeting new people :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Those last couple of years have showed me how great can be sharing stories and learning about other people's lifes.

Now I am living in Bonn/Germany, but previously I lived in Mexico for a couple of months and I even had the chance of work as a teacher and do a social project via Aiesec. I have met so many people, but more importantly: great people.
