ABOUT ME

Love to travel, especially if I get to hang out with locals. Reading, designing quilts, Art, hiking, kayaking, travel. I work so I can get plane tickets.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat other people as if they have a sign on them that says "MAKE ME FEEL IMPORTANT" Its easy to do this once you get the hang of it. Everyone wants to be affirmed and know they are important.

Meeting people through couchsurfing makes me think about how many wonderful friends are out there just waiting for us to meet up!

Listening to other people's story...and EVERYONE has a story. We spend 1/2 year in the NC mountains and 1/2 in a beach town on the Gulf in FL. Retirement is great but we’re involved in our communities. Once you’ve known PURPOSE. In life, you’ll never be content without it.
We are over 60 but super active hiking and leading kiddies in scouts.
Been to Scotland, England, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Korea, Panama, Costa Rica and Spain.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

ran a half marathon at 55. Seen two volcanoes. Given birth to children. Been in love with the same guy for over 30 years. Explored Hong Kong and Macau by myself in 2011 and found some ways to serve the teaching community while there. These are NOT in the order of importance.
