I'm currently attending uni as a third year transfer student in Japan. A bit of a leap for me, but I love immersing in a totally different culture.

Nonetheless, I only have a few experience in travelling outside my home country, which is my sole reason to find opportunities to get out and see what the world has to offer!

One thing I love the most is food! I love and appreciate trying out new dishes and am honest if something isn't compatible with my tastebuds. I've always believed that food is what connects and differentiates us. Having the chance to travel to some places in SE Asia, I notice how some dishes may look similar but have a totally different kick to it. Though I'm not a great cook, I am willing to learn!

I also love listening to other people's stories and find them very amazing. I admire people's life-story and am always fascinated with the different experiences they've had. It's one of my ways to see the world in a different perspective. Many of my friends consider me as a good listener, maybe it's because I enjoy listening to them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of getting to know other people with similar values and being able to connect with them. Also travelling the world has always been my dream. I was told about CS by an old friend, and was totally keen about it.

I want to discover myself through travelling and always look forward to learning new things while also sharing my own experiences.

Interests

~ Eating and cooking. Nothing beats a good meal except of course knowing how to prep one. Though I'm not good at cooking, I love learning how to cook different meals.
~ Outdoor Activities. Anything that keeps the heart pumping! I can be a little competitive sometimes, but am willing to admit defeat haha.
~ Photography. Far from being an expert in this field but I'm learning how to compose images. I appreciate seeing great photographs and knowing the stories behind them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Very hard to choose, but the most amazing experience I've had was Stargazing during my camping and hiking trip at Mount Prau, Dieng.
