Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until I get a space comfortably big enough to host, I can only surf and meet up for now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great so far! This is, I think, the best way to travel- live with the locals, because home is people, not a place. Of all the countries I've been to, my favourite places are the ones where I crossed paths with good-hearted people.

Interests

travel, photojournalism, photography, literary theory, philosophy, cultures, history, war stories, religion (Christianity, Tibetan Buddhism, and Hinduism in particular), reading, writing, music, good conversation, literature, ultimate frisbee

i wrote my bachelor's thesis on Aemilia Lanyer's poetry during the time of the Reformation but would one day like to write my master's thesis on South Asian modernist fiction (in particular Arundhati Roy's The God of Small Things) in relation to modernist lit/psychoanalysis/Woolf
