Overview
About Me
I am student in New Zealand heading on exchange to Scotland and wanting to travel as much a possible while I'm on this side of the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to learn new things, new skills and to learn about people.
Interests
I love to cook (and eat), and they are both some of my most driving passions, but what got me into my field of study is my love of language. I have learnt French for a number of years and a little Spanish. Ultimately what I want from my studies are the qualifications to enable me to travel to learn about different cultures in from them, their language and ways of living.
I am also a very artistically minded person and love to draw, something I hope to find more time for while I'm travelling. I really love just walking around, discovering new places and I am a big people watcher given half the chance.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love folk music also anything from Jack Garratt to David Bowie and Mumford & Sons but always open to new artists and genre. .
Movies and TV are unashamedly very important to me, so to pick a favourite would be impossible. Really into animations (huge disney fan!), comedies, drama and, arts films. Jane Eyre is a long standing favourite novel and (it goes without saying, because I've met very few people who aren't) a big fan of all things Harry Potter also!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One!? Last year, I waiting for hours in line to see Mumford & Sons perform in Auckland NZ and stood right up front the whole time. A completely unforgettable experience and I would recommend to anybody to see them live.
Also, just last week I tramped the Copland valley track on the West Coast of New Zealand and walked along the most incredible glacial valleys, watching the sun go down behind while soaking in the natural hot pools up in the mountains.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook, and am more than happy to whip something up for you! Plus, I like to think I can see value in small things and am an unfailing ambassador for New Zealand, so ask me anything and I'll try to help!
