About Me

I have a big heart and care about the well-being of others. I want to see the world and learn about new cultures and meet new friends. Every culture offers something exciting and important and I'd like to experience and cherish that. I grew up in America and have visited Ecuador, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, South Korea, and Canada. I hope we have the opportunity to share our travels and make new memories together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling to see new parts of the world. This world is too amazing to live a lifetime and never see it. I believe it would be a richer experience staying with the locals and create more meaningful memories. I also don't have a lot of money to spend on housing and I want to try this option.

Interests

I have many interests and a very positive outlook on life. I enjoy cooking, eating, exploring new places, athletics (including swimming, water polo, hiking, snowboarding, P90X, Insanity, etc.), I play piano and guitar and love singing/writing music, and of course my major is creating art and graphic design.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm... Well, I think it's amazing I completed my college degree. There were some rough times of no sleep for 3 days and nights. Phew, quite an accomplishment I think.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn Korean/Japanese/Spanish and can teach some English in return. Also perhaps some cooking lessons. =)
