About Me

***IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ FIRST***

--> We're not hosting this year (2017) anymore as one of us has to go through invasive surgery. We will be hosting again next year!

--> We don't accept friend requests unless we met you in real life or exchanged messages. Please respect that!

Hey,

Nice to meet you - my name is Lydia, but most people call me Lu.

My wife Stephanie & me live in the very centre of beautiful Barcelona, Spain. We live here (together) since 2011 - both of us are living in Catalonia (Barcelona and Tarragona) for almost 10 years! We are open-minded people, that love specialty coffee, craft beer and cooking & enjoying amazing food, and love to share our passions with friends and strangers alike. :-)

If you'd like to stay with us, you should already have references, you had better read this profile, you should know that a maximum stay with us is 2 nights and that we are not people where you can just crush and spend the night to save some money. For us this is about meeting new, interesting people and we'd like to get to know you. We are not a hotel. We love independent people that know how to entertain themselves, are always open to help you on your way and appreciate to spend a little time with you. We certainly won't be your travel guide but send you on your way with a map! We prefer hosting women and will most likely decline your request if you're a guy - no offence! We hosted great guys, but in order to host you as a guy, your profile and message have to convince us big time - if you can provide us with further references and a Facebook or LinkedIn profile, the better! Ah and regarding all genders: if you're a jerk, a homophobe, a misogynist, macho, etc. you better keep on looking!

All the best!
