About Me

I collect how to say "I love you." in different languages and photos doing headstands around the world.
If you want to check them out follow my insta: @yogagypsytravlr

I'm a free spirit and very open-minded. I love meeting new people around the world! Sure, I love a beautiful beach or amazing architecture, who doesn't? But it's the people that make the place. Good vibes.✌
Let people be free to live whatever makes them happy. 🌈💞 Life is a roller coaster, so try to have fun! 🎢

What can I say about me? I'm an artist.🎨🎭 Adventurer. I love dancing! 💃 Coffee. ☕Walking barefoot.👣👌 Camping and Rock Climbing. I love the ocean.🌊
My favorite food is mangoes and spicy curry (Thai & Indian). I'm vegetarian - which isn't something that describes me - but is important to note if we cook together. :)
I like the Ninja Turtles and Mario.🎮 I love having crazy, colorful hair.

I'm really interested in languages. English is my native, and I learned Spanish in school and through traveling. I know a tiny bit of Dutch and would like to learn Italian, Portuguese and French.

My family took a lot of road trips when I was a kid and I started traveling in Central/South America on my own when I was 17. I have lived with host families, done culture exchange programs, study abroad, and group tours.
I also traveled around Europe for an entire year - I was an Au Pair in the Netherlands and Spain, and I taught English at a camp in France. When I had time off I was backpacking. :)

I prefer not to plan too much, just start wandering around a city and see where it takes me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people everywhere I go! I think staying with locals is the best way to learn about a new country or culture and find out the best places to go or things to do. I travel solo a lot so it's also a great way to have someone to hang out with. When I get my own place again I will definitely open it up to surfers. :)

Interests

I like a little bit of everything and love trying new things!! I really want to scuba dive more and learn how to surf! 🏄

Music, Movies, and Books

Music feeds my soul. 🎧 I like all kinds; from indie, folk and jazz, to reggae and Spanish reggaeton to hip hop, dubstep and techno!

Alice in Wonderland! Comedies and Drama. I love Emma Stone, Robert Downy Jr., Dakota Fanning, Kristen Wiig, Johnny Depp... and Tim Burton films.

I reeeeally love cartoons. My favorites are Adventure Time, Regular Show and Bob's Burgers.

I love books. I could spend hours in a used bookstore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling around Europe for a year by myself.
Bungee jumping at the Pride Party in Berlin!
I jumped off a cliff in Cyprus into the Mediterranean Sea and went scuba diving through a shipwreck!

Teach, Learn, Share

We can do yoga together, I can teach you the basic steps for salsa dancing, how to use chop sticks successfully, or practice speaking English or Spanish with you!
