I'd describe myself as a pretty go-with-the flow kind of person. I'm a middle child of 9 so I think that helped me just learn to roll with the punches and get along with everyone. I'm happy in pretty much any situation because I don't set expectations before hand but am just interested in the experience whatever it is. You learn something from every experience and every person has something unique to share, and that's a big part of why I travel to meet people from different cultures and learn something I didn't know before. I like being in both the city and in nature..love beaches and warm weather! I used to do a little snowboarding which I love but in general cold weather is not my thing, at least right now. I try to always skip winter by traveling to sunny countries! I'm very interested in art and culture, and seeing how different cultures produce different music, art, philosophy of life.

Always looking for new music..some favorites include Gorillaz, Jens Lekman, The Flaming Lips, Vulfpeck, Daft Punk, The Tallest Man on Earth; not a huge movie watcher but tend to go for romantic comedies...I definitely avoid horror; love reading! Some favorite reads from 2018 were The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, East of Eden and Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, The Arabian Nights, Lost in the Cosmos by Walker Percy, Selected Nonfictions by Jorge Borges, Andrew Wyeth: A Secret Life by Richard Meryman, The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury...

I've helped deliver a lot of baby goats (I got dairy goats when I was 14); I've done several 100 mile bike rides; climbed a volcano twice; at age 11 I started working on a chicken farm and I've gutted 1000s of chickens over 6 years I worked there (sorry, vegetarians! For what it was, it was as humane as it could be 😉😉)
