About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore new cultures, make new friends, and never let boredom win!

I'm a recent graduate making my way put into the big wide world and not quite ready to stay in one place! I've never couch surfed before but am on here to meet people and hopefully travel! I'm a chatty, happy go lucky person who always aims to put a smile on your face BUT I'm rubbish at telling jokes, just so you know. Just moving back to the UK from France, donc j'aime bien rencontrer les francophones si vous en voulez! I love exploring new places, museums and historic sites as well as people watching in cafes with some good friends to talk to, can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon!

PHILOSOPHY

I am really lucky to have been born where, when, and to whom I was, and now I need to make the most of that opportunity! In the process I can hopefully exchange with others to learn and teach and therefore grow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm planning on travelling soon and wanted to try my hand at couchsurfing because I've heard so many positive experiences about it, but I'm willing to meet up with other surfers too for a chat and a cultural exchange.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't had any yet but looking forward to it :)

Interests

I love music, dancing, watching movies, chatting to new people learning about new cultures, surtout si on peut parler en francais, j'adore visiter les nouvelles villes, faire des decouverts, tout genre de chose! I play rugby as well and to be honest, I love cheese. and food in general. but especially cheese. Bit of a medieval lit fan too if there are any others out there.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll watch just about anything except horror movies, contrastingly I LOVE CSI, NCIS and that sort of thing. Books I'm into fantasy and escapist fiction, anything with a fairy/dragon and a bit of magic sounds perfect to me. And Music, well as long as I can dance to it then i like it. And I'll try anything once, so all new experiences in tastes and recommendations are welcome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to the Royal Wedding, and although that sounds tame or boring to some, for me it was an amazing experience to sleep on the streets in such a carnival atmosphere and then share in such a memorable occasion. I've lived in France for 2 years and been able to do crazy things like snowboarding, mountain hiking, white water rafting, but always looking for new experiences!

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak French and English, been working as an English teacher and willing to exchange my skills for new discoveries! I'm also fairly adept at cooking and I love history, anything you can teach me or I could teach you would be a great experience for me!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cyprus, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Wales
