About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a pretty laid-back person who loves to explore new places and meet new people. I love travelling and reading and all kinds of literature, predominantly Canadian and German or anything on the Arctic. I am a nature-person, I love to hang out with friends, going to the movie theatre or theatre. I love to bake and cook, collect stones (I know, a bit weird, but I love these remnants of past times, and they are great to decorate and put them on papers and letters). I have learnt to play accordeon when I was younger and always wanted to learn another instrument, probably a piano or the guitar. Reading occupies a great part in my life, and I could spend hours in bookstores or libraries!
PHILOSOPHY
I am a positive thinker and I consider that there is a sense in any thing that happens in life. I am an all-time optimist who is smiling most of the time! I love travelling so much because I believe that every journey can enrich our lives. Because I cannot travel all the time I can at least meet other people via CS and find out more about others and also myself through that!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have done CS twice in Canada (British Columbia) and once in Norway. I traveled with two other friends and we hung out with our hosts in Canada and had the chance to receive more information about the place we stayed and its special spots to see. I also had a great time with my couch surfing host in Norway. I was there while the volcano in Iceland erupted and all flights were cancelled. My host was so kind to let me stay a couple of days longer to figure out a way back home. It was a great experience and I would always couchsurf again.
Interests
travelling, literature, cooking/ baking, nature, a bit music (especially 70s), movies, I love green lifestyle and realizing an environmentally friendly and sustainable lifestyle.
