About Me

I am a 22-year-old girl, from Annecy (French Alps/FRANCE).

I used to study law in Chambéry (Savoie, FRANCE). After passing my Bachelor degree, I took a gap year and came to Australia, where I currently live with my boyfriend.

I also have been leaving in Montréal (CANADA) for almost 2 years, which helped me to find out who I am and what I want to do in my life. It helps me to become more open-minded and confident, less shy.

I love taking pictures of things I do (http://lydiebientz.wixsite.com/goodmorningaustralia) and sharing them with people.

I am a welcoming, warm, giving, smiling, open-minded, trustworthy, sincere person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Visiting places and countries makes people different and open-minded, but it doesn't make sense if you don't interact with local people and culture. That's mainly why my boyfriend and I really want to do homestay.

The best thing in traveling is sharing culture, point of view, stories, adventures. This is what we expect with Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am always keen on listening to music, every kind of music (love song, French songs, rap, rnb, reggae, rock). My favorite singers are Akon, Francis Cabrel, Pink, Ed Sheran, Flume... Do I really have to admit that I am a HUGE Eminem fan?

My kind of movies is the true story movies, because I feel like I am living people's life. I am a very empathic person.

About books, thrillers are definitely my favorite one (Michel BUSSI).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting my family (cousins, uncles/aunties) for the first time after 18 years in Montréal, that was so touching.

What I Can Share with Hosts
