ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm Lydia. I'm from New Zealand but I now live in East London.
I've grown up on a really amazing beach with a lake, sand dune, swamp, waterfalls, and jungles.
I'm very laid back and happy, I hate trouble and conflict, I'll avoid it as much as I can. I'm keen to make friends with people all around the world and I get very excited when it comes to discussing travel.
I've been to film school and I work in the film and television industry and I LOVE IT. I've had such amazing work since arriving in London, and working freelance lets me travel. I also take a lot of photos so I'd like to do some travel photography.
And music. Music music music, in any shape or form. I can play the Ukulele
So if I'm coming to your city, let me know and I'd love to meet you in person!

PHILOSOPHY
How do you live your life? Day to day.
My mum gets too hung up on the details, but not me.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I don't even have my own bedroom, let alone couch. But if you want to meet up for a 'coffee or drink' then let me know. Except I don't drink coffee hah
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Interesting, but please don't let my story put you off. I arrived at my FIRST EVER couch surfing location and the guy had disappeared to Brazil for the weekend. Luckily his flatmates were lovely and made me feel welcome, but for a moment I thought I was going to be on the streets in Italy.
Centres d'intérêt
Music, Photography and Filming, Swimming and everything summer. Making music, gigs and festivals, parties and gatherings. I love camping and have been around most of New Zealand with my family. I'd love to do a roadtrip/camping trip around the world some day

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I've been to 5 countries in 4 days ... I was pretty happy with that.
Also me and my friends once totally failed at Hitchhiking but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We were trying to get to Berlin for my 21st birthday but no one picked us up. So I spent my birthday in a random German city called Osnabruck and had an absolutely AMAZING night, i'm so happy we didn't make it to Berlin!
