About Me

I am a student at the College of Charleston studying Studio Art and Applied Mathematics. I enjoy being outdoors, creative endeavors, music, and healthy living. I love exploration, and find pleasure in deep connections and conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have this innate desire to travel and explore. This comes at a consequence to my bank account and need for nurture. At times a simple connection in a foreign city can come in handy for a free place to stay and a nurturing night of laughs and good conversation.

Interests

I love to cook, play guitar and piano, painting, drawing, hiking, dancing... I’m down for most fun things in life . Experimenting with raw vegan recipes (particularly desserts :))is always a passion of mine. I love gardening and anything really to do with agriculture and health.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy indie rock (Dr. Dog, The Shins, The Strokes, Pheonix, STRFKR, Vampire Weekend, etc), female jazz (Madeleine Peyroux, Esperanza Spalding, Kimbra, Suzanne Vega, etc), experimental electronic (Of Montreal, Animal Collective, etc ) wow I could go on and on! Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino are my go to. I am currently reading the Devinci Code, and have last ready Velocity (both murder mysteris).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied abroad in New Zealand for 5 months followed by a month long travel period in Southeast Asia. The world is amazing puzzle that I’ve just yet figure out.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to talk about health and the world as it is today. I find myself gravitating towards stimulating people and conversations. Any opportunity I have to educate myself on something I have little understanding of, I grab it. It is unbelievably important to continue to grow and learn as a young person in this big world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook pretty good vegan food if in need of some cooking skills. I can bring flowers or food ingredients, and we can share a meal together while discussing something fun. Or if you'd rather not talk and just allow me a place to stay, I can do that too!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Israel, Italy, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
