About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people merely exist and that is all." -- Oscar Wilde. ( I'm waiting on my postcard to confirm verfication.)

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a southern suberb, but my heart was always in the mountains of the west, so here I am.

PHILOSOPHY

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I — I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." -- Robert Frost

Be free-spirited, challenged, interested, and happy. I love nature and aspire to protect, appreciate, and experience it as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was initiated to couchsurfing through my former roommates and friends Jana and Andrew, whom are very active on couch-surfing; over three years ago, their first couch-surfer in Steamboat Springs would later become my roommate and friend there; he graduated from my college at the same time as I did, but we didn't know each other. All three called me while riding the ski lift on opening day in Steamboat, while I was still in Georgia, and they sang our college's song. What a small world! Since then I've hosted groups but have never actually surfed myself and am looking forward to the opportunity...
