I studied tourism in Nice, France, but I have always been travelling as far as I remember! Me and my boyfriend met in 2013 while living in Sydney, Australia. We spend 2015 in New-Zealand and loved it! We worked for 6 month in Christchurch and really enjoyed it, me as a barista/ front of house in a french bakery and him as a barman. We are now living in Canada with working holyday visas. Our recents destinations were the west coast of Australia, Hawaï and we just spent 4 months in Mexico and Central America. For a short holiday or a year, my aim is to see as much as I can of the world! I love meetig new people, locals, travellers, with different cultures and backgrounds. Sharing our experiences I think contributes in making me a richer and a better person.
I love all type of natural activities, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, wildlife observation, snorkeling and I really enjoy doing anything local from the new country I'm in. I am also very interested in permaculture and my dream is one day own my bed and breackfast with my permaculture garden! I just did a month volunteering in a plant nursery near Colllingwood, Ontario, and that was an amazing experience where I learned a lot and met fantastic people. It also was a great introduction to Canada :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading: I love reading police novels of any type just as long as there is a good intrigue! Stieg Larsson, Jo Nesbo, Fred Vargas, Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle are some of the authors that I like.
Music: I like pop music, accoustic preferably like Angus and Julia Stone, Ayo, Cocoon, Tracy Chapman. I also enjoy some Nu metal with bands like Linkin Park and System of a Down, music of the world and specilly celtic and much more depending on my mood I guess.
Movies: I am big fan of the studio Guibli with Spirited Away as my favorite movie ever. I in general enjoy more Drama type movies. The most recent one that I really enjoyed is Captain Fantastic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2006 I volunteered 3 weeks with a group of 7 in an organisation called Caritas Egypt. We participated in the running of a local centre for homeless children in Cairo which included the running of social and educational programs such as music classes, as well as vocational classes for Arabic amongst others.

Learn: I like to learn other languages, how to make things with my hands, traditions from all over the world like songs, dance, artcraft...
