CURRENT MISSION
ABOUT ME
We are husband and wife, 44 and 34, with kids 10 and 6, working as artists and for Heather, becoming a midwife. We love Baltimore and the natural environs surrounding it - hiking, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. We live in an old house with plenty of room to spare and love hosting traveling artists. Though we are generally introverts, we love late night dinners and keep plenty of wine and Scotch on hand. We also love to travel and are planning an art show and tour through Europe in 2015.
PHILOSOPHY

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen the ravages of war in Kuwait, my blood on the sea, the desperation of famine in Somalia, the gentle smile of a thankful mother in Ethiopia, my life flash before my eyes, the magnificence of Carnival in the street in Spain, the wonders of the ancient world, the ocean, dark and terrible in its beauty. I have shared a beer with a Chinese grandmother who spoke no English and a flask with a kilted grandfather who I believe spoke every word; I fought with pirates in the Caribbean, and have stood on the shores of every ocean. I dove to the depths and climbed to the heights. And every morning I am greeted by a dog who thinks I rule the world and a little boy and girl who I know rule mine.
Teach, Learn, Share
I was a Marine, a cop, a war fighter until an injury left me disabled. My world ethos was destroyed, but through it I learned to embrace a more peaceful path, and rediscovered my art.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I perform rustic masterpieces in the kitchen and have no fear of produce I have never experienced.
My children can do anything involving LEGOs.
I shall not leave your home without adding a little art to it.
