Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Like the Couch Surfing motto sais: "Creating a Better World, One Couch At A Time"
I also think its one of the best ideas ever. Maybe one of the best ideas to come from the internet? A great way to travel about the place but mostly its a really cool way to meet new people which is what you wont find staying in a motel room on your own..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Slept on plenty of couch's but Im yet to experience the official couchsurf! So yeah Im a newbie, Im heading to America at the end of this month (March 2010) so will be looking for couches soooon!

Previous comment is a little out of date...
So ive surfed a few couchs/beds now.. and the experience? well I wouldnt change a thing thats for sure. The things ive done and the places ive been with some of my hosts are beyond comparison to the hotel/hostel experience. Its been amazing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies are good for rainy days 'cos you dont feel so bad about being inside when the weather isnt great...
One of my favourite DVD's has to be the Mighty Boosh!
Flight of the conchords is pretty damn awesome too.

Music, Life would be so dull without it. I think all genres have a place... I'll play anything from Led Zep to Bob Marley to Outkast to Jack Johnson to Cut Copy to MJ to The bloody Beatroots to Pnau... I basicaly like everything from Old school rock to new school electro.

Books.. I have read a couple and I will read a couple more some day..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rolled my van on a dirt road & walked away without a scratch, That was pretty frickin' amazing.
