ABOUT ME

Hi! Im flattered you take the time to read about me!
My name is Lynda, I am originally from the south of France but have been living in different cities and countries like Guatemala, Central America for the past two years and half. I thought it was a good central option to get to know the Americas ;) It enabled me to live an awesome experience travelling around, improving my spanish, learning about a new culture and meeting new friends!

I guess the best word to describe me would be mouvement! I am now back home for who knows how long but as soon as I get a chance, I like to go on week ends, visit friends, wander around and always plan what will be my next adventure :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I must be honest, it took me years after openning my account to actually dare to request people to stay at their places. Lucky me I've been lucky at the beginning to find hosts through word of mouth or friend recommendations and then got more comfortable about it.
I love the concept ! How amazing it is to be able to connect and share (a meal, a conversation, a walk) wherever we are in the world. It brings more humanity in this everyday more indivudualistic world!

Intereses

My main interest is exploring.
Exploring through travelling, discovering, meeting others, facing differences, learning new languages, find better way to comunicate with one another
Exploring and observing around how things flow
Exploring oneself: understand and grow through our interactions with others

So many topics draw my attention, I could never be bored. I like reading, philosophying and wondering about existential matters. I am also a dance lover, any kind as soon as it makes me moove!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I climbed two of the highest volcanoes in Guatemala: Acatenango (3,976 m) & Tajumulco (4,220 m). I even overnight camp few meters from the top of Tajumulco

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I am the kind of discreet travellers, I wont dare to take too much space or tell you about my whole life if you don't seem interested. I'd obviously love to share with whoever is willing to: getting to know each other, interesting conversations, debating (yes Im french ;) a meal maybe cooking? some activities or visiting around. A night out or a yoga session.
I can probabbly share a bit of my knowledge in languages toó. Im falso a good listener and good at providing external objective advices if needed.
