I am new to travelling, and would love to learn about the world through the eyes of locals. I believe it is the best way to make sincere connections with individuals from around the globe. I also love the reciprocal nature and generous philosophy --"Happiness is not having a lot. Happiness is giving a lot". Together we are a network of givers, with generosity being shared as either a host or a traveller.

I love anything to do with being outside--running, hiking, skiing, kayaking, camping...you name it! I thrive on the beauty the world has to offer, and find solace in nature.

I also enjoy listening to live music, making breakfast for my friends, sketching, reading about ancient civilizations, and going to quaint cafes in search of the perfect cup of coffee.

My latest interests are to travel extensively and experience new cultures!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I recently returned from a two day hike from Port Stewart to Ballintoy along the Giant's Causeway Coastway in Northern Ireland. Everything about the trip--the geological features, the people I met, the company I travelled with--was simply amazing. It was such a unique experience compared to so many who go to visit Giant's Causeway, and it made me realize the importance of seeking and committing to the "off-beaten" road for my travel destinations!
