About Me

I'm Lyndsay. I like cycling (especially bike touring, bike packing, MTB and fixed gear), traveling around the UK and the world, reading, cooking vegan feasts for friends, social justice activism, and doing transformative educational work.

I love how in a world that tries to separate us and monetise our relationship, people-led innovations like Couchsurfing means we have to freedom to open up our homes, lives and hearts to new people and experiences!

"without community there is no liberation.... we have to conciously study how to be tender with one another before it becomes a habit" - Audre Lorde
Tierra, libertad, agua y amor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couchsurfed with some fantastic people - including in Argentina, the fabulous metal-loving Milton & Lucien (and cat Mafalda) who were so chilled and hospitable and welcoming I try to be as easygoing and welcoming with our couchsurfers as they were to me.

I am currently without a permanent home, and am constantly humbled by other's kindnesses and willingness to share what they have.
