About Me

Cowboy-boot loving Western Canadian, who enjoys the simple things in life, like the window seat on airplanes, hot chocolate on a snow day, ukulele strumming around a bonfire, and cheap cabernet sauvignon. Mountains, crossword puzzles, colorful yoga mats, sea-side running paths, and to-do lists make me weak at the knees. I love exploring new places by foot and by bike, and with interesting, exciting people! I've recently finished my BA in Psychology in beautiful Vancouver, BC, Canada - and have moved back home to Calgary to pursue my nursing education. J'aime bien voyage et explorer les nouvelles villes avec les nouveaux amis!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did lots of surfing during my European travels (2014/2015), while I was living in Copenhagen and Geneva! I'd love to continue meeting new, exciting people in all sorts of places around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bearded men playing acoustic guitars, Monty Python, and Harry Potter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving over the beautiful Austrian Alps... and then a few months later, watching shooting stars all night in the Sahara Desert.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a little bit about neuroplasticity, about epigenetics, about Beethoven, running, and how to make a mean banana bread - unless you know how to make a meaner banana bread, or anything else for that matter - I'm pretty interested in most things you'll have to teach :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A really delicious vegetarian supper might be in it for you... with excessive uses of garlic.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Cuba, France, Germany, Laos, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Denmark, Switzerland
