My name is Lyndsie Beesley, I am 25 years old.
Born and raised in Oklahoma, I did not leave the state (except for Texas) until I was bitten by the travel bug my first year of college.
I have since travelled to Colorado, up the West Coast from Oklahoma to Alaska (including Canada),Belize, France, Cyprus, Italy, England, and Scotland. Experiencing the cultures of people all across the world has opened my eyes not only to others but also towards myself. I plan on travelling well into my wrinkles and grey hair years.
I studied a full school year in Limoges, France. I am in love with the language and I hope to continue learning while I'm back in the states. I enjoy reading and writing and consequently talking about favorite books and all of that nerdy stuff.
I consider myself pretty chill and on the flip side pretty adventurous.
I'm currently living in Austin, Texas and working at the Austin Film Festival.

My extroverted activities include the normal going out for coffee/drinks/food and talking with friends (or strangers, friends of friends ect.). This can last for hours upon hours and I'm happy with that. I enjoy hosting friends at my house (when I have one) for dinner/game nights. I love catchphrase, charades, card games ect. with large and/or small groups.
When alone I like to read and write, paint, and if I'm honest occasionally binge on a Netflix series.
I like/want to like working out and running. I hope to run a half marathon in the next year or two. Cooking healthy meals is fun, doing non competitive sports with non competitive people is fun.

Music: I like tons. From Death Cab-Mumford and Sons-Stromae-Ed Sheeran-The Avett Brothers-Queen- to country music, red dirt, pop, 90's alternative, and whatever else sounds good to me.
Movies: Favorite Disney is The Lion King. I like war movies (Gladiator, Braveheart), chick flicks (10 Things I Hate About You, The Notebook), comedies (anything Will Ferrell), dramas (Good Will Hunting, Forrest Gump), indie films (Away We Go, Little Miss Sunshine). Basically just not a huge fan of horror films!
Books: I love American literature. Possibly my favorite novel in To Kill a Mockingbird. I love all John Steinbeck. I grew up on Harry Potter and Little House on the Prairie.
