I am a fun loving person who is married to Neil. We love to travel both in Australia and overseas. We also have a very much loved Golden Retriever dog called Monte.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We like to travel, meet new “friends” and experience new places. We have hosted exchange students from Japan. We have also hosted visitors via Air BnB.

Interests

We love to travel. Our other passion is for our Mini cars. The classic ones. We have a supercharged Cooper S and an 850. We love to drive them on winding roads like the Great Alpine Road to Omeo. We are always looking for new “wiggly” roads to take them on.

I love to read mostly mysteries and some romance books. I also like to read magazines about health and fitness. I like going to the movies and especially love to do this with my grandchildren to keep up to date with their interests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been married to the love of my life, best friend and soulmate Neil for almost 45 years now. We are the proud parents of 3 lovely daughters who have provided us with 8 beautiful grandchildren, who bring us much joy and happiness.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a massage therapist who enjoys helping her clients feel relaxed and rejuvenated. I am still learning new techniques. I practice relaxation, remedial and Oncology massage.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We live in Bairnsdale, country Victoria and have a family retreat in Omeo in the high country. We love where we live. We are only 2 hours from the snow and high country and just over 30 minutes to The Ninety Mile Beach and the beautiful Gippsland Lakes. We love to share the beauty of the country around us.
