About Me

I'm live in Hanoi since I were born. I am working as an accountant. I like travel, food and swimming

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I realize that nowadays we spend lots of time for our smart phone and nearly forget a simple thing in life : Talk to each other. I like going out with friends, talking and listening to each other about life, food, experiences. It would be much more interesting than picking up a phone and get nothing! Do you agree with me?

Interests

I like reading books (ebook), swimming, diving and listening music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Swimming with a turtle and fishes in Bali's sea.
- Diving under a glass bottom boat.
- Got a short course 18 days in Japan where I studied and worked with 22 people from 17 countries around the world. It was such amazing experiences and I felt very lucky.

Teach, Learn, Share

- I can share you my free time (mostly on Saturday), cook Vietnamese dishes, share about culture of Viet Nam.
- How to get a bargain price in Hanoi's night market.
- Discovering some famous traditional food around Old Quarter.
- How to survive when driving in the street. :))

What I Can Share with Hosts

I feel that foreigners get some troubles during days travel in Hanoi. On one Saturday, I met a couple in a bus, they didnt know how to go to a park in Hanoi. They ask the man who drove bus but he didnt understand them because he couldnt speak English. Then I gave them the direction in detail. I dont know why but then I felt very happy when they surprised and so thankful to me. And then, an idea came up on my mind. Should I spend 1 day off work per week (on Saturday) to meet up and travel around Hanoi with traveler. By this way, I can help them experience Hanoi in a cheapest and easiest way.

I have a detail plan for Saturday tour around Hanoi. If you are the first time in Hanoi, you go alone or a couple and you are interested in my profile, please send me an email: hailinh906@gmail.com. Thank you!
