Overview
About Me
I'm a curious and open-minded person who likes to travel and meet new people in different places. I am an enthusiastic outdoor adventurer who learned about couchsurfing when I was on a solo surf/yoga adventure in Costa Rica.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to show visitors to Sudbury or those passing through northern Ontario about what makes it such a special place to me. I can cook, and have room in my house for visitors every second week.
My home is located in a community called Azilda, and my house is on a city bus route that is a 20-minute ride to downtown Sudbury. I have parking available. There are 220+ lakes in Sudbury, and you can walk or ride a bicycle to one of them very quickly from my front door. I would love to join you on a bike ride!
I also like to travel, and the thing I enjoy most is meeting people and sharing experiences. I hope to meet amazing hosts, and to become one myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Pretty diverse... you might not believe it, but I listen to Klezmer music, Bach, Madonna, Fifty Cent, and Drake; Tracy Chapman, Eminem and Metallica. Not much Jewel, but Dido, yes. No Kid Rock, but Johnny Cash. I also listen to CBC almost every day.
Books: Just finished Wenjack by Joseph Boyden. I like non-fiction books written by journalists about their experiences, memoirs, political and history books, and science fiction like 1984... also liked The Shipping News.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked as a video journalist in Liberia and interviewed President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf shortly before she won her Nobel Peace Prize.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have heard that I tell good stories, and I'm also a good listener. I am very interested in learning about people and places, and I'm a great person to take along on any impulsive adventure because that's my jam!
I make really delicious breakfasts, and pretty good sandwiches.
