Hi, this is Linlin from China. I recently quit my job and started my world trip, a big and exciting step for me. My rough plan is to travel overland from China through Mongolia, across Russia, into Europe, then to North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and finally back to China. currently in the UK now

It wasn’t an easy decision, quitting my job in my 30s in China and still figuring out what kind of life I want to live. But I believe everyone has their own rhythm, and it’s never too late to start living life in your own way. I see this journey as a chance to slow down, explore, and discover more about myself and the world around me.

Rather than just sightseeing, I want to dive deep into local cultures and meet people from all walks of life. What matters most to me when traveling is connecting with people on a deeper level, those real, human moments that make the world feel smaller and kinder.

I’ve lived in China, New Zealand, and Australia over the past few years. My time in New Zealand especially inspired me and it taught me to live more simply, appreciate nature, and stay open-minded. Also I hitchhiked almost all around New Zealand and that’s the memories that I will cherish for a lifetime.

I’m also very interested in documentary filmmaking. During this trip, I hope to capture meaningful footage and stories along the way. If you are interested in being part of it, let’s make one together!
