ABOUT ME

I totally don't get what acting your age means - does that mean when you get older you forget how to feel young? Bah! Listen, I love to start random conversations with total strangers, get excited when the first star appears and usually trip and fall because I am too busy looking at everything around me - I don't want to miss anything. I love to laugh and yet can cry at the drop of a hat when I am moved. I tend to gravitate toward the less traveled path when I go abroad.

PHILOSOPHY

My favorite quote is "That others have gone farther and done so in finer style bothers me not, my journey is my own and I find it to be quite spectacular." I choose to see the world through open eyes and find a pebble to have as much importance as the mountain - I hope to reach the end of my life able to say I LIVED.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I have been hosting - Meeting the world one person at a time, what a blast! I hope to couchsurf through Scotland next year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the short time I have belonged to couch surfing I have met the most amazing people! I wonder what took me so long to join, but now that I have I can honestly say I look forward to each new adventure welcoming the next unique traveler into my home. I love getting to know the world, one person at a time.

Interessen

I love to take pictures but am by no means accomplished. I love to be out in nature soaking in the silence or on busy street embracing the bustle and sounds. I quilt or take photographs when I need to create, read when I need to relax (with wine or coffee of course) and host couch surfers when I need to learn!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I read, I listen, dance and sing with music and love a good drama or documentary. My tastes are eclectic and always open to being enlighten by others suggestions.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Each experience is wonderful in it's own way but jumping into the Arctic Ocean made me feel brave, small and empowered all at the same time...not to mention cold!

I LOVE the badlands and wide open spaces in the black hills these are places to rejuvenate your soul.

If you need help in your garden or hammering a nail, I'm your girl. I love to learn about different cultures and discover the differences as well as the similarities between people and places. Always eager to describe the beautiful midwest, I shall tell you all about the enchanting Badlands of South Dakota and why you should visit.
