Overview
About Me
I am a roaming field biologist and a student of the natural world. I travel around working on wildlife conservation projects, doing research involving bird migration, and generally adventuring. Currently, I work as an avian biologist at Yosemite National Park and continue to work on research relating to bird migration and spatial ecology.
Because I'm in the Sierra Nevadas a lot, my ability to host is not guaranteed, but I encourage people to message me. Sometimes, rarely, I can accept surfers at the southern edge of Yosemite in El Portal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I host when I can, and I surf I need to. Following the birds is important to me, and I hope I can occasionally help with other people's missions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen a world that inspires me. I have seen the sun set and moon rise on Angel's Landing, I have seen coyotes in city, I have seen creatures on the brink of extinction.
Teach, Learn, Share
The main things I know about are animals, plants, and how to not die in the woods.
