Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To finish my PhD in anaerobic wastewater treatment. And to find a nice project in the region of Guatavita, where we will be living temporarily. I'm thinking about helping on a local farm, teaching or cooking.
ABOUT ME
I'm a calm and modest person, flexible and open minded. I like to get to know new places and people, make fun and have a good talk over a drink. I hate plastic disposable stuff and food waste. I love to reuse things, possibly for other purposes and I think leftovers are the best meal.
PHILOSOPHY
Live your life more consciously, stop trying too much and enjoy!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Until now I only surfed a few times in Mexico. In Cancun, in Mexico DF and later in Puebla I had a great time surfing. It is the best way to get to know a place. Later, when I had my own apartment in Puebla I got the chance to host people myself.
Interests
I love to travel and I think the great differences in nature and culture are very interesting. Yet, I do enjoy to come home and have a nice time together with family and friends. I most enjoy being close to nature, I'm not so much a fan of living the city, although I do enjoy hanging around on a (flee)market and going to a pub.
I love cooking, especially with self-grown veggies and with local ingredients that are new to me.
I love cats, dogs and animals in general. Insects however not so much.
