Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, even the bad ones. Critics would hate me.

I love world music, alternative, indie, jazz, classical, latin, easy to please.

Books I tend to be pickier about. I just finished the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and loved it. Portrait in Sepia by Isabella Allende was a really good book and so was Eat, Love, Pray.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met a Peruvian woman who had traveled 7 hours in the back of an open truck through the Andes to get to a doctor in order to give birth to her first child in a clinic. I then watched her give birth. I got to hand the baby to her mother for the first time.

I studied Spanish for years in an immersion program and I love speaking Spanish.

I've got 10 years of teaching experience and I have been teaching English for almost 3 years in Korea.
